Design is a way of understanding and communicating with the world around me, and I strive to make work that presents clear attention to its purpose and context. A design that accomplishes these goals is made possible thorough process that starts with research. Sketching is another important step for me. Quickly drafting ideas on a page becomes meditative, helping me steer towards what works and away from what doesn’t. I approach design with unabashed creativity while seeking to find balance and harmony between visuals, ideas, and meaning. I love bringing multiple mediums, materials, and physical processes into my work to create the best designs I can.
